Triumph TR4 Sports Car (1961-65) on a White glossy 15 oz. mug

Modernizing and moving forward from the TR3, Triumph had Italian stylist Michelotti design a wider, taller, more comfortable body that finally incorporated a larger engine, roll-up windows and a more commodious trunk ("Boot" for the UK) for greater practicality. The TR4 was suddenly an "everyday" car that is fun to drive! It later proved itself on the race track, conquering many cars with greater horsepower and more "refined" names. The car in the photo is my own beloved TR4.
