Magenta Red Triumph GT6 Mk3
In the early 1960's Triumph developed the Spitfire as a sporty two-seat, 4-cylinder sports car. Triumph wanted a fastback design for racing at Le Mans and had the original designer, Michelotti, craft a design that was eventually made of fiberglass because the weight of a steel body bogged down the little 1,100 CC engine. Public interest and Triumph sales staff called for a fastback for the street and a 2-liter 6-cylinder engine was added creating a miniature grand tourer. GT6 owners LOVE their cars (Ask me how I know...) and it remains an extremely popular sports car.
